Christmas Doily Free Crochet Pattern

Using MC
R1: magic circle, ch 2, 13 hdc in magic circle. Pull yarn tight to close magic circle. sl st in 1st hdc to join. (14 hdc)
R2: ch 2, hdc in same hdc, 2 hdc in each hdc around. sl st in 1st hdc to join. (28 hdc)
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Helpful Tips:
I like to shape the doily as I work on it and help it to lay flat. I like to shape it as I go, especially after adding the stitches to the chain spaces. This helps the Doily lay flat as you add more rounds and reduces the need for Blocking.
It is a good idea to weave in your ends as you go. This way you are not having to go back and do them all at the same time.
