With any season in mind the Triple Vee Scarf Crochet Pattern is the perfect accessory to any weather’s wardrobe.  It has a nice airy stitch.  It uses Fingering Weight Yarn and a nice big Double Treble Crochet or the Triple Stitch as I like to call it.

Even though this pattern doesn’t use basic stitches, any beginner can do it.  I have Video Tutorials to help anyone along the way if they are not familiar with the Foundation Double Crochet, Alternate Chain 2 or 3, and the Double Treble Crochet.

**I made my scarf into a cowl.  If you would like to do the same then leave a long tail for sewing.**

To make a Cowl:

Use the mattress stitch or whichever stitch you prefer to sew the cowl evenly together.

Yes there are an uneven number of stitches at the top and bottom of the scarf.  To sew the scarf ends together you can go into a stitch more than one time.

Fasten off and weave in the ends.
