History behind the Design

The design came about because I have had an Afghan my Gram started over 25 years ago using a flower she designed.  In 2022 I finally decided to take one of her flowers apart from her Afghan.  I wanted to see how she made it so I could finish her Afghan.

Because I loved her flower design so much that I decided to create the Maes Flower crochet pattern.  I was able to finish my Gram’s Afghan.  Also, my Gram’s Afghan was so easy to put together, that I decided to create another crochet, which I then turned into the Mae’s Flower Garden Afghan crochet pattern in honor of my Gram.

You can find the Mae’s Flower Crochet Pattern that I designed using these flowers free HERE on my website.

You can also find an Ad-Free copy of the Mae’s Flower crochet pattern at my Ravelry and LoveCrafts Stores.
