Start at the bottom of the panels and sew the sides together using the Whip Stitch, or Mattress Stitch until you get to the Armholes.
If you would like more room at the hips, leave a 2”-4” slit at the bottom on each size of the Panels. I made a 2” slits.

Using the Table at the top of the pattern, find the size of the neck hole opening.
Place your Stitch Marker where you want to stop the opening on both sides of the top.
Sew the panels together using the Whip Stitch or whichever method you prefer to sew the shoulders closed.

The Summer of Love Tank Top Crochet Pattern is another design I created in recognition of Cancer Awareness Month and the women in my family who were diagnosed with one form of Cancer or another. I am glad to say they all are cancer FREE right now. I am so proud of them and their survival, so I decided to design another crochet pattern called the Summer of Love Tank Top!

In designing my Wrapped in Diamonds Wrap I was scrolling through Pinterest trying to find some inspiration for a new design. I was scrolling through my Crochet Stitches Board, which can be found here, looking for that perfect stitch. I came across the Argyle Shell Stitch and fell in LOVE!!
My Wrapped in Diamonds Wrap measures 26″ wide x 73″ long. The yarn I used is Lion Brand Coboo Yarn. I used 1000 yards of this beautiful lightweight cotton and bamboo mix. You can make yours any size you like. I wanted it long to be able to wrap around myself.
The Argyle Shell Stitch consists of a 4 row pattern repeat. The pictures below show how the Diamonds take shape after each row is added. Rows 2-5 create the pattern repeats that build the Diamond shapes.
As you can see by the picture below the Argyle Shell Stitch creates the perfect Diamond shapes that come out in the Wrapped in Diamonds Wrap. The picture below also shows the Edging that I created to surround the beautiful Diamond shapes.
You can use the Argyle Shell Stitch yourself and create a beautiful Wrap, Blanket, and so much more! I have a Video Tutorial that has a great example on how to crochet the Argyle Shell Stitch.
